Founder & Owner
Dr Daniel Perna
Dr. Daniel Perna spent thirty years in public education as an English teacher, basketball coach, athletic director, and both a building and central office administrator. In 2004, he became the sole owner of James Daniel & Associates, LLC. Dr. Perna has worked with schools and school personnel in several states and the US Virgin Islands. He is most noted for his work in the area of instruction, curriculum design, and assessment techniques for secondary teachers. In recent years, he has worked with numerous Career and Technical school educators to facilitate their understanding of why aligning technical competencies with academic skills is very important for student success. He has published four books and continues to share his knowledge and experience in motivational speaking and professional development sessions.

Jim Duffey
Jim Duffey is a former district superintendent and executive director of a career and technical center. Jim focuses on helping schools develop grant applications. He has extensive experience with succesful grant writing for technical schools. Proven expertise in budgeting, board relations, and school goal setting are also aspects of what Jim has to offer.

Robena Spangler
Robena Spangler has been a student of how cultural understanding and awareness can move a school forward for students, teachers and administrators. A Qualified Administrator (QA) in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), she supports individuals and teams as they become effective in noticing cultural differences while building the capacity to shift cultural perspectives and adapt behavior to bridge across cultural differences.

Del Hart
We welcome Dr. Del Hart to our team. Del has extensive experience and success in organizational leadership, at the following levels: High School Principal, Adjunct Professor and Supervisor of Student Teachers, Dean of Academic Affairs, Director of Post-secondary Career and Technical Education, and Statewide Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Del will offer schools his vast experience and focus on the areas of school culture, leadership, and individualizing professional development.

Tom Boito
Tom Boito taught secondary math for over 30 years at several schools in Pennsylvania and Virginia as well as coaching football and basketball at the high school and collegiate levels. He brings a coach's perspective to classroom teaching and educational practice. He also worked several years as an ed tech coach and brings a high degree of understanding of the evolving landscape of technology in education. And as the son of a builder, he is comfortable with education for the trades.
